Becoming a mother is beautiful, frightening, messy, traumatic, exhilarating, sometimes sorrowful… we all have stories to share.
Part of remembering who we are as our own person, is also intrinsically linked with who we are as a mother… that little thing was once part of us. Memories may be painful or joyful, our current situations might be wonderful, frustrating, rewarding or complicated, but children are part of who we are.
Gruesome or exciting childbirth stories are almost a right of passage for mothers… whether it’s fresh in your mind or you have to cast your mind back, just remember the time you went from pain to gain…
