This project is almost like a pregnancy - the idea was conceived quite a while ago, and since then I have been expectant in developing the idea, meeting people who would love to take part, both as participants or artistic collaborators - now I can't wait to 'give birth'!
I AM ME has been funded by The Arts Council England and is inspired by the idea that as mothers of children at whatever stage of life - we are people with our own tastes, skills, ideas and aspirations - I want to help people remember who they are and what they would like to do, and we will do this through a series of inspiring and creative workshops and journals, resulting in some amazing artwork that will be on display for all to see in our local shopping area next year...
